MACNA XIX

Hello, fellow aquarists.

It’s your friendly neighborhood marketer here with a reminder for readers in the Eastern U.S. to visit MACNA XIX this weekend in Monroeville, PA at the Pittsburgh ExpoMart.

This is the 19th (!) Marine Aquarium Conference of North America and so far it’s shaping up to be one of the best yet.

There are a ton of reasons to visit MACNA this year, chief among them being that we have a booth there (ah, but of course!).

In all seriousness, the hard work of the Pittsburgh Marine Aquarium Society Inc. (PMASI) and Marine Aquarium Societies of North America (MASNA) has really paid off this time around.

Spanning the entire weekend—kicking off today and ending Sunday the 16th—MACNA XIX is chock full of workshops, guest speakers, exhibitors, vendors (ahem! Be sure to stop by Marine Depot’s booth and say hi to my boss) and raffles.

Arguably the most exciting part of these kinds of events, aside from hobnobbing with fellow hobbyists and rubbing shoulders with industry buffs, are the raffles. That's why I love this blurb from the official MACNA XIX website; allow me to do a little copy/paste action here:

ZeroEdge, Ecotech Marine, IceCap, Marine Depot and Euro-Reef are cooperating to put together not only one of the most stunning exhibits the MACNA trade show has seen, but also one of the most stunning raffle donations. We don't want to steal their thunder, so you will just have to wait until the show to hear about it!
Here I sit, stuck inside our West Coast headquarters wishing I was at MACNA. So do me a favor: if you go, hit us back with a comment and let us know how the event was and if you won anything in the raffle.

I want to live vicariously through your experiences!

Lastly, don’t worry if you haven’t already registered for the event. You can still buy tickets at the door.

Sweet!
