AquaticLife HID Light Fixtures now Available
Aquarium product maker AquaticLife manufactures some seriously cool stuff.
From top-shelf RO/DI equipment to easy-to-read and use hydrometers, AquaticLife's impressive arsenal of products continue to impress us with their quality, craftsmanship and innovation.
Their HID light fixtures are no exception.
Equipped with T5s, LEDs and adjustable HID spotlights, these puppies are primo for spotlighting corals and anemones in your reef tank. They also include a timer that controls the HID lamps, T5 HO fluorescent lamps and lunar LEDs independently. Not only that, the LED housings pivot 40° so you can direct the lunars over specific areas of the tank. The internal electronic ballasts are designed to cool the fixtures without the use of fans for quieter operation.
Although adoption of the HID format is more prevalent in Europe and Japan, their popularity is increasing. This trend will likely continue to spread across the U.S. as more aquarists become acquainted with HID and G12 socket bulbs.

Nice post.I really like it very much.
ReplyDeleteAn HID kit is used in the cars, motorcycles, nurseries, indoor aquariums with fish that called for tropical lighting, and even on airplanes while landing and cab lights.
ReplyDeleteJust installed the 72" unit, the lights are amazingly made and the concept is very cool. These are spot lights, you will have shadded areas however the lighted areas are amazing. If your tank has a center support, you will have to either hang the unit or think about other supports as my middle light is right over the support and has melted some of it. I would highly recommend this lighting system
ReplyDeleteVery informative, I must say. =)Thanks for posting! =)
