Calibrating the JBJ True Temp Digital Controller w/ Heater

In this MarineDepot.com video, we'll show you how to calibrate the JBJ True Temp Digital Controller and create a set point for the heater to turn on.

The JBJ True Temp Digital Controller w/ Heater is available in multiple sizes, from 150 to 1000 watts. The digital controller has a bright LED display to make reading your tank's temperature quicky and easy. The controller can also be calibrated to ensure precise aquarium temperatures at all times. A smart memory chip stores your calibration and settings even in the event of a power outage.

The titanium heating element with plastic safety guard comes with a magnetic mount that makes it easy to attach to variety of aquarium sizes and styles. A magnetically mounted remote temperature sensor is also included.

Maintaining the proper temperature for your aquarium inhabitants may be the single most important factor for a successful aquarium. Since fish do not have the ability to regulate their own body temperature, it providing consistent water temperatures with minimal fluctuations is essential.

Most fish can't cope with stress from constant temperature fluctuations because it leads to a compromised immune system. This also increases the probability of avoidable diseases, parasites and bacterial infections.
