Once you have mounted your Apex, connected it to your network, and updated your Apex Operating Software, you can now connect your new Apex to Apex Fusion. However, DO NOT proceed any further in the setup process if you have not yet updated your AOS.

Apex Fusion is Neptune's cloud-based connection to your controller. Connecting your new Apex to Fusion will allow you to access your controller from anywhere that has internet access so that you can stay on top of what is going on with your aquarium and make adjustments if needed even if you are miles away or even the other side of the world from home.

The process for connecting your new Apex to Fusion is extremely simple, yet is of vital importance for getting the most out of your controller.

In just a few seconds, you should receive an email titled "Apex Fusion Invitation." (If after a couple of minutes  you don't see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.)

In the email (see below), you will notice the first step is to "READ and FOLLOW the instructions at this link." That link takes you to Neptune's Getting Started guide and walks you through the process of setting up your Apex and updating the AOS (which you should already have done at this point).

If you have already connected your new Apex to your network and updated the AOS, then skip the first link and simply click the second link in the email. This will verify your email and take you to the form for creating your new Fusion account.
